Nota Record · Individual and above
The Nota Record. Evidence, not a determination.
When you need to hand someone a result — an editor, a client, a file — the Nota Record carries the hash of the exact bytes, the reading with its measured false-positive rate, the character check, and every caveat, signed so it cannot be quietly edited afterwards. Every signed-in scan on the detector keeps its record automatically — download past records from your account; this page is for producing one directly.

Counts against your Nota words like a normal scan.
What the record contains
- Version, timestamp, model version
- SHA-256, byte and word count of the submitted text — not the text
- Probability, band, verdict, threshold, measured false-positive rate, or the abstention reason
- The character check: hidden characters, look-alike letters and carriers, as counts
- The caveats, always
- An Ed25519 signature over the canonical body
The closing caveat is fixed: “This record attests to what Nota observed in the submitted bytes at the stated time. It is not a compliance determination.”
