Know how your writing reads.
Run your draft before you hand it in. See the same kind of number a detector would show your teacher — with the error rate that tells you how much to trust it.
Check yourself, calmly
Paste a draft, get a probability, a band and the model’s measured false-positive rate. No red sirens, no “% AI” verdict — a reading you can actually use.
Keep your paper trail
Save drafts and version history as you write. If your work is ever questioned, your process is stronger evidence than any single score — ours included.
If a detector flags you unfairly
Ask three questions: which model, at what threshold, with what measured false-positive rate on human writing? Every detector is sometimes wrong about honest writers. Ours prints how often, on every result — point to our method page in your appeal.
What you get to work with.
2,000 free words a day
No card. Enough to check an essay every day of the semester.
See why it reads that way
The evidence panel shows twelve writing statistics against a human envelope — sentence variety, phrasing patterns — each with the situation in which it misleads.
Nota Club
Invite friends: each one who runs a real scan raises your daily cap permanently, earns raffle tickets, and moves you up the season board. Merch for the top of the leaderboard.
Your drafts are yours
Pasted text is discarded by default — never logged, never used for training. Signed-in history keeps each scan’s signed record; the text only if you choose to keep it.
On every result, whatever the plan: probability, band, threshold, measured false-positive rate, model version, word count, caveat. Never “written by AI”.
