Can I try it free?
Yes. Try your first check without an account or card. A free account gives you 2,000 words a day. Paid plans add more words, multiple-file checks, matching sources on the web, and report downloads and sharing.
Can an AI check be wrong?
Yes. Human writing can look like AI writing, and AI writing can look human. Nota gives you a prediction and the available test information. A result cannot prove who wrote something or predict what another checker will say.
Can I upload a PDF or Word document?
Yes. Nota accepts PDF, DOCX, TXT, Markdown, CSV and RTF files up to 30 MB. You need at least 50 words. PDFs need selectable text; scanned images need text extraction first. The result explains how much text the AI model checked.
What happens to my writing?
Saved AI-check reports contain a fingerprint of the text and the results by default. You can choose to include the text. Optional source checks temporarily queue your text and send selected passages to a search provider. Our privacy page explains the details.
